We, the undersigned, urge Ohio lawmakers to impose a 10-megawatt cap on energy use for new and existing data centers statewide. While digital infrastructure is essential, unregulated data center expansion threatens Ohio's energy grid stability, disproportionately raises electricity costs for residents, and accelerates climate change through fossil-fuel-dependent power generation.
